KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Pull, pack, weigh, and labeling customer goods appropriately
- Wrap furniture and items in protective material and ensure all packages are properly packaged and sealed.
- Create and maintain moving inventory lists
- Keep goods separated, organized, and accessible
- Monitor packing quality and report any problems or discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
- Move items from one location to another
- Set up the items in their new location
- Answer any questions that the customer may have about the moving process
- Ensure that no items are damaged during the moves that you work on
- Loading and offloading of customer goods, packing materials and debris
- Interacting with clients in professional conduct
Requirements:
- High School Diploma
- Proven work experience as a Packer or similar role
- Physically fit
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Knowledge of Cargo Packing & Loading and capable of lifting heavy objects repeatedly
- Knowledge of Packing Materials
- Good communication skills
- Punctual & Reliable
